Adult Programs
Book Club
Book club is an adult program that meets on the first Monday of every month at a different local venue. Please visit our Facebook page for the monthly book titles and possible date changes due to holidays or weather issues.
Recipe Reader's Cookbook Club:
Meets the last Wednesday of the month at 5:00pm. Check out a cookbook from the library and make an appetizer or dessert to share with other members.
Adult Craft Session:
Monthly craft session just for adults!
Puzzle Swap:
Enjoy puzzles? Stop by the library on the second Monday of the month for our take a puzzle, leave a puzzle program. All levels welcome
Children's Programs
Lapsit Storytime:
Join Ms. Angela every Monday morning at 10:00am for a special storytime and music for babies aged 0-2.
Preschool Storytime:
Children ages 3-5 are welcome to join Ms. Angela every Friday at 10:00 for stories, music, and a craft.
Take and Make Craft:
Stop by the library for the monthly craft for you to make at home.
Children's Craft Session:
Each month, library staff will have a craft session just for kids!
Little LEGO Club:
Join Ms. Fatima the first 2 Thursday of the month for Duplo building.
LEGO Club:
Ms. Fatima take the LEGO Club on the road for the last two Thursday of the month. In partnership with Be Great Academy, Ms. Fatima will bring LEGOs to both Saluda and Hollywood Elementary Schools' aftercare programs.

What is 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten?
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a program designed to help parents prepare their children for one of life's big milestones: Kindergarten. Research has shown that children get ready to read years before they begin their formal education. An excellent way to get your child ready to learn is to read to them.
Why should your family participate in 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten?
Reading with your child and making it a special time together shows him that reading is valuable and enjoyable. You can start to develop a love of reading in your child from a young age!
